Happy baking day!

Baked my favorite banana pound cake using a newspaper cake pan. (You can check here for how to make a cake pan with newspapers!)

We have it for dessert or snack with a cup of tea, always loved by my friends. I don’t put sugar that much so take it easy on yourself and savor the moment.

To make a banana pancake, you’ll need:

・3-4 (ripe) Bananas

・60g Butter: Leave it to the room temperature before you begin.

・2 Eggs: Leave it to the room temperature before you begin.

・150g Cake flour

・50g Granulated sugar

・5g Baking powder

Basically you’ll mix above and it’ll only need 10 minutes of prep time to start baking in the oven.

Preheat oven to 180℃ (356℉). Mix the butter only first and add in sugar. Then, mix it well together for a minute.

Add in the eggs and mix it until you see no eggs.

Add in the sifted flour and baking powder. Mix it roughly using rubber spatula.

Mash bananas and combine with the batter. If you would like to enjoy the texture of banana, don’t mash it too much.

Mix the bananas and the batter roughly using the rubber spatula.

Pour the batter into the pan and drop it for a couple of times at the table to remove the air bubbles.

Bake for 40 – 50 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the center and check if it comes out clean.

Let it cool and enjoy to your heart’s content.
